Nice little restaurant right on a small waterway with tables right along the edge. Very tasty Currywurst as well as good lager. We also trued the fish/chips & it was very good as well. Would recommend.
Best place in Hamburg for a quality fish & chip feed. Good drinks & bier on tap. Good view of the street outside for city viewing, easy stop in and friendly staff. Also English speaking. Right on the speicherstardt, best part of Hamburg.
Cosy little restaurant in a small iconic building amid the heritage warehouse at Hamburg harbor! The fish & chip, fried fish fillet and curry sausage was fantastic! The apple pie dessert after meal was a cherry topping to a great lunch! Strong recommendation for those in the area! The boss was gracious to get us a table even though we didn't manage to reserve one before hand. Much appreciated for his kind gesture!
the place is very cool and the food served is of high quality. They are very good at fish.
When we got here it was packed, but they had a cozy spot in the corner for us. The wait staff was very friendly and happily engaged us in English (as I obviously struggled with my German). Food was hot, crispy, and absolutely DELICIOUS! Due to the late hour, we were the last to leave but felt welcome to stay longer if we wanted. We highly recommend this restaurant!
The food is very good. It is a cool building but very small. Luckily we hit it right before the lunch rush, so make reservations for peak hours.
Terrific fish and chips. Unfortunately service was slow on this evening. One waitress doing everything who appeared new. Hopefully she will do better with time. Our food came quickly but we never got our drinks. We had to ask for them and them watched many other get served while we still waited. We thought one of the three men behind the counter would help, but no. We were basically done eating by the time drinks arrived.
